Just steps from the stadiums of Philadelphia’s iconic stadiums for the Phillies, Flyers, 76ers, and Eagles, lies The Villas at Packer Park, offering a stunning urban living experience. We were honored to partner with this community on a comprehensive roof and gutter replacement project, improving the safety and long-term performance of these homes.
Work was scheduled to begin on September 23rd and was initially expected to continue through December 6th, but thanks to favorable weather and careful planning, our team completed the project two weeks early, officially wrapping on November 25th. The project progressed smoothly, with no major issues, and every building received the attention needed to ensure proper ventilation, insulation replacement in moisture-affected attic areas, and plywood replacement where necessary to prevent future rot.
From the rooftops, our crews enjoyed remarkable views of Philadelphia’s city center and stadiums, giving a unique perspective that made the workdays even more memorable. Throughout the project, the Lemus team maintained a focus on quality, efficiency, and respect for the families living in the Villas. Using high-performance GAF shingles, underlayment, and ventilation systems, each roof was built to last, providing long-term protection and enhanced energy efficiency. Residents consistently expressed appreciation for the team’s professionalism and attention to detail, and we worked in a carefully orchestrated manner to ensure vehicles and garbage bins were never left blocking anyone’s personal spaces, allowing easy navigation through the community’s tight roads.
Onsite project management was led by Humberto, who has spent the past seven years at Lemus Construction building a reputation for keeping projects on schedule, as well as Gilberto, who brings over 20 years of construction experience, having successfully managed hundreds of projects from start to finish. Their combined expertise kept crews aligned and monitored hands-on support and proper installation of the community. Residents appreciated the digital & printed communication methods that ensured clear updates and seamless movements.
